Meet your teachers
Mr. S
Hello my name is Mr. S and I am glad to be at SBECA teaching 7th grade science for another year. I was born in Queens, and lived in both Queens and Brooklyn early on. I have also lived in California and New Jersey. Traveling at a young age shaped my mind and taught me how to get along with people from different backgrounds.I love learning in and out of school, I worked as a freelance photographer before getting into education. I have Bachelors in Biology from Lehman College and Masters in Science Education from Lehman College. In the spring of 2018 I started my first semester as an adjunct instructor for the College.
I enjoy reading, biking, hiking and taking short trips. I especially like helping my students learn about science and life.​

Hello! My name is Ms.White and I am excited to begin my first year of teaching 7th grade Science here at SBECA :) I've always wanted to be an educator and I am committed to providing quality education to all students no matter what. It is my hope that I can be part of the change that is needed to see systemic change for our students.
Some things I love to do in my spare time are cooking, writing poetry, singing and shopping :)
